how often or how do I know that I need to optimize my forex ea in metatrader?

There are commercial robots, as well as free ones, and you could even design your own without writing a single line of mql4 code…but how often, or how do I know for sure that I need to optimize/re-optimize a forex robot using historical data in metatrader, since the market keeps changing? and what would be the length of time to use to optimize for 1M, 5M, 15M, 30M, 1H, 4H, Daily charts? thanks!

i trade forex and have never used a robot, i dont understand them.

I came across a site that talked about forex trading to make money & it took me to a site that sells an automated forex trader, skeptical I googled it & it got good reviews. But if I do purchase this forex trading system what else do I have to do to start making money? Do I have to open an account? What exactly do I have to do? I’m completely new to this. So far I’ve traded Forex, I want stock because they are risker and more active and exciting.

Tell me some brokers because when I search Google for stock brokers, these links say they are stock but when I click all I get is Forex…

The larger brokers are ones like TD Ameritrade, E-Trade, Charles Schwab, etc. I would stay far away from E-Trade, I have dealt with them and have had them tell me nothing but lies. Reps tell me I can trade this and that and then when I open the account I find out I can’t.

Which Forex Trading website in Canada is not governed by US Rules and where Hedging is allowed?
FXCM.com is a good website but it is governed by US Rules. According to Rules in US Hedging is not allowed. Also when you open multiple orders you can’t close the last order unless you close the orders opened before that. When you put a stop for second order it closes your first order insead of last. Therefore I am looking for a website in Canada which is as good as FXCM.com but not governed by US Rules.

You don’t need to change the broker. Just transfer your account to FXCM LTD. (UK) and you can do hedging. Also you can attach your stops to specific orders. FXCM LTD. (UK) is not governed by US Regulations. It is governed by Laws in UK.
