If you are in a big city, then go to the RBI branch and ask them. They are the right people to advise you .

I can’t find anything that is totally Mac oriented without the use of Java or Parallels. FXCM offers Java but it’s totally lame and don’t feel comfortable with it. Thanks!!

try to check out this site. they claim to offer a web based trading platform that does not really require special downloads or configuration, however, in some cases where the client is using special settings, or is missing basic components, some modifications are needed in order to use certain features, or to enrich the common user’s experience and the charts system is based on Java and Flash technologies and requires that a “Java Virtual machine” and "Flash Player" are installed on your computer. anyway, in case of special configuration or settings, their technical support group can assist your requirements. all the best.

If you are new to forex the best web resource by far is babypips.com. They tell everything you need to know, step by step of exactly how you can become a successful trader.

No I don’t work for them but I have found the site invaluable myself with my own trading.

There is no good FX platform or company.

There are only ones less bad. Be very careful…. it’s very easy to make money in a practice account. Paper money trading should never be used as a guide to the future. You only want a US regulated company (anything else can lead to great financial pain).

I am a Software Engineer and i would like to invest some of my money into Foreign Exchange. I also did a little survey for the best trading platform, but to my surprise i found a huge list of forex traders. Guys can you help me in finding out the best one for me.

MT4 (MetaTrader4) is the only platform that you can implement forex robots and just let them trade automaticaly for you.Anyway there are platforms that have different functions.What you should look when searching for a good platform is:
-to be fast on opening and closing positions
-to be able to trade directly from the charts
-to provide technical analysis tools and information
-let you "hedge"

Except MT4 i secondly recommend the FXCM platform
