I am a forex beginnier, but i have to no idea which platform to choose.

Hi, there are lots of forex trading platforms but not all of them are suitable for beginners. They are too professional and confusing for an untrained eye. You know all those charts and indicators flashing and running in fron of your eyes…difficult to keep up with!

But there is one that a friend of mine uses and he says it works very good for him. It is specially built for beginners in online forex trading.

It’s got a so called "openbook" or forex social trading. It actaually means that it is more visual instead of technical, if it makes any sense to you.

The point is it works great for beginners and of course you can try it first. They got the $10k demo account.

Hope this helps! Oh…the link to it is below. :)

While, it’s hard to define a forex trading platform that is good. It depends on what products you are trying to trade.

If you just want to trade currency pairs, then use mt4, reliable and compatible.

I’m speculating more and more with forex and currency trading and have been trying out the Demos on a few different sites. I’ve come across a few gems but mostly I’m not satisfied with what I’ve found and in some cases relatively disappointed.

It might sound like a lot to ask but does anyone have any ideas for brokers that offer the following four features, or at least three out of four…(I will be starting with a few mini and small deposit accounts with around 10 different firms and then judge the best to follow through with.)

#1 Diversified trading opportunities ~ offering currency pairs, indices, options, futures and a large selection of major stocks. (Its very important to me to be able to operate on all my positions from a single platform or broker. Its confusing and and a hassle to switch between different programs, and can result some extremely costly mishaps with your margin when your funds are split up.)

#2 Decent leverage on both forex and shares.

#3 Reasonable spreads, this means absolutely no more than 2.5 pips on the EURUSD(Unless the broker is outstanding in the other three areas).

#4 Web platform as well as application. When traveling I’m on my macbook air which is incompatible with MT4 and most application platforms and doesn’t pack enough power to run parrells smoothly.

I’m really looking forward to hearing your ideas and Ill provide some feedback after I try them out.

    Thanks in advance!

Download NinjaTrader for a free trial and check it out. I’ve been using it for years and it’s a great platform with a simulator and back-testing and programmable with lots of add-ins and additional indicators and strategies available through the forum.

I trade the forex futures through AmpTrading and Ninjatrader. I trade the spot forex also on a different machine, but I get better fills and better commissions and spreads with futures, and the margin rates are only $500 for forex and stock index futures. The futures are regulated by the SEC, whereas the cash market is run by the banks, so there are less shenanigans with forex futures; things are more as you would expect, fewer surprises.

Need to find a good forex trading platform.

As a 10+ year Forex trader, here is how I trade to make money…

If you want, you can also follow these steps. I’ve dumbed it down to the easiest, yet safest way to win in the Forex.

    1) Open a live account at http://bit.ly/iPV25O
    2) Select AAAFx broker, and open MICRO account with 200:1 leverage.
    3) Deposit at least $300 in your account to start.
    4) "Add to Portfolio" the top 20 strategies at http://bit.ly/mJiyZV
    5) Don’t add any strategy that makes less than 10 average pips per trade.
    6) …when adding strategies, set maximum number of trades to 5, and…
    7) …select lot size of 0.1 "mini" lots for each $1000 in your account.
    8) It will trade automatically, following all those top 20 strategies.
    9) Then sit back, relax and take a vacation as you make easy Forex money.

Suggest only if you have personal experiance with said advisor. Thank you.

    Hi bob,

I have tried numerous Forex Expert Advisors but to no success except for this two EAs that has so far produced consistent monthly profits for me. They are Fap Turbo and Forex MegaDroid.

However, do not expect to double your capital every month like what they said. This is because, i am currently using them and my capital don’t double every month. But getting return on investment (ROI) of around 20% to 80% per month is possible. Don’t expect to win everytime as there are times of losses (you just have to stick it through). However in the long run, you should be able to see your account size grow.

I run both of them with different brokers and it’s been great so far. Hope this is useful to you.

    To Your Trading Success,

    Thomas

Only suggest if you have used the indicator and have had exceptionaly good success with it . thank you. I know there are literly thousands of them out there , but most are about as close to worthless as worthless can get. Thank you .

I have not yet come accross an indicator that was any good. I beleive its better to focus on price and price action.

The only indicator (although it could be called an overlay) that is use are moving averages, these can be used as dynamic support and resistance levels, for example, price will often respect the 8 day ema on a daily chart.
