Over time I have read and tested many trading ideas for different markets. In the past I was naive enough to think that the more complex and the more time and effort I put into designing a trading strategy the better it will work and the more money I will make. It took time and some loss of money in order for me to learn that it is the simplest and easiest to implement trading strategies that yield the best results. Using common sense with correct money management is the key. Understand and follow these two principles, and I guarantee you will be light years ahead of the 95% losing crowd.

I believe that a good trading strategy is one that exploits certain occurrences in the market that do not happen very often. While the losing crowd tries to trade every day and force trades on non- existent opportunities the winners wait like hunters for those high probability low risk trades.

Easiest?????????? You pick two of the most difficult arenas to trade in (successfully) and you ask which one is easiest?

If pushed to the wall I’d have to say Option trading is easier than Forex trading (although it may take a year or so longer to learn). Forex is easier to make money at because your capital outlay can be smaller. The cost of trading both is high. Trading options is cheaper.

What ever way you look at this… it can easily take 3-5 years to learn how to trade, profitably (consistently).

Im looking at putting some spare cash to work and want to start trading shares but with so much information about whether to trade equities, options, forex etc and whether buying shares or speadbetting is cheaper on tax Im looking for people with a bit of experience to narrow down the learning curve.
I work during the day so will be trading/betting in the evenings on the US markets. I want to cover both short term and long term gains by buying and holding long term stock for the dividends but the short term trades (daily/weekly/monthly) should I buy the shares or bet on the price, which option is the most tax/cost efficient?
Trying to read about and learn all the aspects of trading will keep me busy for years so any advice on which areas/styles I should focus on as a starting point would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Zecco allows you to trade stocks, options, and Forex. Most of the stock and options brokers don’t have Forex trading, and most of the Forex brokers don’t have stock trading. Zecco is a rare breed in this case.

Why does it appear that small time investors have such difficulty getting to trade/invest in bonds of Sovereign countries? If I think the bond sell off in Ireland is over done and I want to load up on Irish Bonds, where can I go to snag a few bond issues?

It seems like only Bonds are off limits to small investors. We can all buy Stocks, ETFs, Options, Trade Forex, etc.. But when it comes to Bonds of Sovereign nations, it seems like getting your fingers on any is few and far between,

Sovereign debt is usually held by large institutions and central banks. It isn’t economical for nations to issue small denominated bonds that would be attractive to a retail investor. You can seek out ETF’s or mutual funds that may have positions in these type credits.

As to Ireland, there is lots of Irish bank paper out there to invest in. Since many are on the verge of nationalization, and/or bk, you could play it that way if you are a risk taker.

i want to trade in binary forex option . But first of all i want to know that how binary forex option brokers earn. If they earn from loss of money of a client then it is scary. So i want to the method of earning of binay forex option brokers.

I don’t know how binary forex broker earns money. But I think, binary option is quite risky compare to traditional forex trading, since if you make a mistake in telling the trend you will lose almost all your money. Good for you if you always guess the right one. But as for me I use Omniforex Signals, a membership site that helps you successfully trade online by following signals.

I was reading a blog that kept talking about binary options trading instead of options. It said that binary options trading was a lot easier especially whne trading in the Forex Trading markets.

A regular option increases it’s payoff the more the underlying passes the strike point.

A binary option pays off a fixed amount based on whether the strike point was passed or pays nothing if it wasn’t.
