Legal papers on Forex broker and manager?

Ok, here is the thing.

I am willing to get a managed account with a forex company.

I asked for the ”LPOA”.

1)What are the things that should be stated in there? Is there sth in the contract that could be a trap or bring a financial debt or i should avoid(margin calls, open and close position limits etc..)? What should the contract state to be considered safe?

2)What should i ask from the broker (i think im using IHforex) to be sure that i can withdraw my earning whenever i want without any hassles?

Sorry if i”m asking silly questions..

George, get the standard LPOA letter which IHforex uses for their accounts and study its provisions. However, chances are that if you do not sign it "as is", but rather ask for any changes to be made therein, that the company has no interest in opening an account for you, unless you deposit over a million.

No not at all, Anyone can leave a review, good or bad. so what you get is every broker and affiliate leaving good reviews for their broker and bad for the other. Like any other website Forexpeacearmy is just in it for the money. Trial and error is the only way you will find what you are looking for and end up with an honest opinion.

Be very careful with managed forex accounts Most of them Lose money I’m telling you because I’ve seen it. Just a precaution make an Extensive Due Diligence ask for at least 3 years of track record having in mind of course that past results don’t guarantee future results. Have at least 5 to 10 possible managed account options so you can decide in the end the better one (if any).

What is a low budget to you? 5K, 10K? they are a few managed account that has a minimum 5 – 10K opening balance, others has 25K, 50K, 100K. I cant give you any recommendation because like you must perceive from my tone I don’t know any successful managed account. Good Luck. (Remember it is soo easy to lose money).

If you had a Forex a managed account, and the returns were above average, would you consider sharing the profits 50/50 with the trader?

The usual hedge fund arrangement for managed accounts is 2% management/20% incentive. Nobody gets 50% incentive. Soros doesn’t get 50%. Paulsen doesn’t get 50%. Nobody…

I have ten years of experience trading forex and would like to teach people how to trade. Also I have BBA in International Business with a minor in economics. I have a solid background in International financial markets, and economics.

What would be a fair price to charge potential students for a 6 month "course" or mentoring? I was thinking $2,000 paid upfront would be a fair amount. That would make it $41.67 per meeting. We would meet twice per week for six months. I would not trade or manage accounts.

I have been teaching one person for free for the past two weeks and he has realized a gain of 45% in that time period.

Please advice as I have a few potential people that are interested in my service.

There are many forex scams; robots, tip services, etc. Many attempt to advertise by spamming Yahoo Answers in violation of the Terms of Service.

If you are legitimate, your first challenge is to differentiate yourself from all the thieves.

Citing academic credentials and professional experience is good.

Claiming that someone made 45% in two weeks is NOT effective because it looks exactly like the silly claims made by the scammers. You know that it is not even remotely representative of typical results, so why even mention it? Don’t cite any returns unless it is backed by an independent audit that would satisfy a securities regulator.

Ask your interested parties what they think is a fair price.

there is no guarantee you will make any money , never mind enough to pay back 20% in one month
