How is the value of currency calculated? I don’t want answers like, (interest rates, or supply/demand). The new york exchange market is calculated by software written by people in the new york exchange market. Since the currency trade is open in many different countries, how is it calculated, does the software that tokyo use, different than in london? ect. Not sure if i asked this right, but I am wondering if there is some type of software that all banks share, and is it written by a european? :)
Follow up. The new york exchange deals with stocks. What exchange deals with currency?

There is no centralized market for currency trading, in New York, or anywhere else. It is a dealer-dealer market.

The price of a currency 1 in another currency 2 is whatever someone with currency 2 is willing to give for it. If somebody wants Mexican pesos and has US dollars to give, they are going to have to pay about 9 cents, regardless of whether they are in Chicago, New York, London or Tokyo. Location is irrelevant, because deals are settled electronically without shipping costs.

This is an auction market, which means supply and demand. I’m sorry if you don’t like that answer.

Which is the best trusted software to trade on line?

If you mean software as in automated trading system or holy grail system/ robot then don’t ( reasons outlined in websites below) . If you mean by platform to trade an account from then it depends on your trading style your account size and your location. Always go with regulated brokers and watch the T&C’s ( again outlined in sites below) test the platform out and research the forums of this world. A Good Reputation will shine through even with the disgruntled comments of those who have lost money due to their own errors.

States side check official regulators www.cftc.gov/ www.nfa.futures.org/ for regulated brokers

My father is willing to pay me to use a Foreign Currency Trading software basically all day every day. But, we’ve researched that it is a large investment to get the software to be able to do it. They’re advertising that if you do it all day, everyday you can make "a lot" of money per year off of this. I am concerned before we pay for the software if the program really does work and if you are able to make money off of it?

To make money on currency trading you need to work in large volumes. Often the margin of profit is 1%. Companies that do this need large reserves.

What eats up to profits, is the exchange of currency comes with a fee. Shopkeepers in tourist areas –like Bermuda– often find it cheaper to have the employees separate the US from the local currency before going to the bank.

I suspect what will happen is you will be paying the company to stay in business.
Is it worth it? Only if you have large amounts of money. Does it work? Not for small investors.

    Hi,

I recently purchased a computer, Acer Aspire as it had all the specs I wanted short of adding more video cards. I will use this for trading futures and currencies. I purchased another video card that adds two more VGA outlets. i am using six monitors. I also purchased 3 SVGA splitter cables to increase my total monitors to 6 ( as each splitter carries 2 connections on each end).; My goal is for each screen (6) to carry a different image/chart on it. I was told I can get a software program that would allow me to put up a different graph on each monitor. Help please! Does anyone know the software program name or have any ideas to help me make this work as I have maxed out my video capability? The aspire only allows for 3 VGA card ports. Thank you!

I have been trading professionally for 15 years on only 1 screen. So I am not sure why everyone’s spending all that money.

How or what do I need to set up basic charts on 4 different monitors?
I have a VGA splitter but that just gives me the same chart on every monitor. I was told I do not need a dedicated graphics card because they are just simple office charts, not gaming or pictures/movies? Its for trading software MT4 which has several currency pairs and I want to put 4 pairs up on 4 separate monitors. I know that I have to download the program 4 times such as MT4_1, underscore 2,3,4, and so on but when I open MT4_1 my VGA splitter just shows it on all 4 monitors. Is there something else I need or need to do to be able to have the 4 instances of MT4 on the 4 different monitors?
    Thanks for your help!

I found a review of a system that some people are having pretty good success. It’s a software program that automatically trades for you depending how you set it up and it gives you constant updates as the where the market is at any minute.

You can read a review about it here:

i want to know which site allows to download the Fx trading software, foreign Currency Exchange Software, Stock Trading Software, Online currency trading software, free Forex Strategy Builder software, forex trading software.
I need to know few more good, popular & best Forex software, trading software and from where i can Download the software instantly and begin using it.

Downloading free system are just for demo account. You cannot actually trade there. I feel this is not a correct step of starting trading. software doesn’t help in earning good returns.Have a good understanding of the function of the market in general and those that keep the market operational. Understand, not only the market you are trading in, put be aware of all the products and services that you can upon if needed. Understand the basics of trading such as never trade against the trend, limit any & all loses by using stop orders and lock in any and all gains with sliding stops. First, you should know that Forex is not that easy. Do not believe those who may say it is!

Now, there are some good robots that MAY help you. Some are scam. Others are for real.

Simply put, a Forex robot is a program that attempts to take the guess work out of trading currencies. Currently there is a lot of information floating around the internet about these products. Like any other tool, it needs to be used properly in order to be most effective.

Like I hinted, in order to use this tool the right way you need to understand a little bit about how it works and where it is best applied.

A Forex robot is a computer or computer program that monitors currencies and does calculations to figure out the best time to buy and sell. These programs help to take some of the guess work out of buying and selling and can help a trader to identify currencies that meet certain criteria, or when certain currencies perform in certain a way. Most of the selling points of Forex robots state that you can simply set them and watch the cash come pouring in. While in some cases this may work, in most cases you are going to need to carefully monitor the program and make sure that it is adjusting to trends in the market. While they can be very profitable they may require a certain amount of intervention to be run effectively. Used properly, and if you have the patience to get to know the programs, they become a powerful tool.

For this automatic approach, forex auto pilot turbo has worked wonders for me: http://fapturboxreview.blogspot.com/ . It offers, among other features, high spread protection system and automated risk scaling. They say "95% winner". Well, only the bottom line counts. In this regard, it has really delivered for me.

I had been watching the forex robot market for months, waiting for the right software to come out. I believe I have found a great one.

Really, get the fundamentals first. Then get your own system and test it offline (do that for weeks, if not months, until your system is well tested), whether you use a robot or not. It really takes a few months – a lot of patience and resilience. But if you are made for it, it is worth it. Read about the psychology of trading (never to underestimate). And then you should be fine.
