what do you guys think about forex trading? Is it a real business? If yes what is a reasonable return on investment per month can someone make with proper training and if he treats it as a real FULL TIME business. Experienced people are welcome to comment but please with all honesty. And how much do you think is a reasonable capital to start with

There are very few people that succeed in Forex. It can take 3-5 years to find out if you’re part of the 5% that are profitable. It takes a lot of time. Late hours. Lot’s of reading. Lots of time improving your skills.

I’m considering trying out online forex trading. What are the better and honest sites? Is there ever any problems withdrwalwing funds from your acct?

Use brokers that are really big.
Not those that need to give you freebies, free $$$ in your account to attract you in.

Oanda, fxcm, ibfx are some honest brokers.

I’m using Interbank FX I highly recommend it, so far nothing to complain about them.

About the free online courses you can go to www.informedtrades.com, they have several video courses on Forex, also on interbank FX they have useful webinars to help you get started.

For more information on brokers, you can go to www.forexpeacearmy.com, they have a lot reviews on a lot of stuff.

    Happy trading

I read some of the risk warning about investing on alpari, I wanted to know if I have something to worried about? Thank you very much.

I’ve never tried it myself but is quite popular and I’ve heard good things about that broker.

    No experience with them though.

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I’m sure it has, but I have searched and searched, and can’t find a direct answer to my question.

Anyway, I’ve heard that "effective September 28th, 2001 the NYSE and NASD imposed a $25,000 minimum equity requirement for ‘pattern day traders.’" so you need to have $25,000 equity to day trade.

Does this mean any day trading? I’ve heard that I can trade FOREX and S&P without this requirement. Is this true, or does this margin requirement apply to all day trading?

Yes you can trade Forex without this requirement.
There is barely restrictions imposed in forex trading.
