Hi. I’m in America, and I’d like to have a discontinuation of spam, notification of winner Nigerian lotteries, or stop hearing about the dead dignitary who somehow me, and 97% of the USA is apparently related to, and who allegedly has $20 million tied up in secret Nigerian accounts, but someone in customs has the money in a Nigerian bank and need us to send $2,000 to get $20 mil., and eliminate all the other 4-1-9 advanced fee fraud scams. How do I find a way to block all this from the few Americans who are super naive and greedy to fall for such nonsense?

Will trade answer for answer. You send me a check – no make that a money order, you know Western Union, the way it is done there (in Nigeria), for $950 (processing fee to get the US gov to handle your claim – or something like that), or send a new ipod to each person who thumbs up this answer and we guarantee (actually it is a Nigerian Guarantee) to insure that you will have all the tea in China delivered like in a week. You might have to chip in for freight shipping though.

Real world trading is selling in game items or currency for real world money.

Bots are run by a third party software that allows players to run automated tasks in the game.

My question is, can anyone tell me a list of ways different games prevent real world trading and bots?

I’m aware of how Runescape does, what about any other MMORPGs or games?

Also, how do the pay to play game developers prevent credit card theft?
I’d appreciate as many ways of prevention that you know, even if it’s just one.

    Many, many different ways.

In the case of Power Levelling, WoW employs an age-old technique. It pins your account to a specific IP addy. If your addy suddenly changes, they monitor the account. If it suddenly changes back, with the character suddenly uber powerful…they cancel the account / character outright.

Gold Farming in WoW, one of the ways they prevent it is by having the players themselves report it when they find it!

‘bots are prevented in many games (MMORPG or not) by the simple use of code requiring actual physical input from the user periodically.

CC Theft is prevented by many sites encouraging the use of Game Cards instead of CCs…and the use of so-called "Secure Servers" which reduce the likelihood (but don’t eliminate it) of someone accessing the information.

As another poster stated, some sites "lock" items to the character profile so that they can’t be traded. If they are sold to a "store," the item is simply deleted from the character’s profile…much like the Recycling Depot in the old MUDs.
For the worry about trading items/gold for real-world cash, there are two ways to prevent that I’ve heard of…one is an actual trade system whereby the persons trading have to provide fair value for items trading for. Another is the system that doesn’t allow trading, and if you drop something in the middle of 100 other players, ONLY you can see it.

    Good Luck!

Hi, I’ve been considering the possibilities of opening a forex trade account. Which I hope to be long term starting with a small capital than build up upon. The only things I’m lacking is knowledge in the market or how to invest properly. I have opened a forex demo account to learn the functionality of things but I’ve heard its a different ball game once you start trading live. I would like to hear some responses from those who are or have been in the forex market. Such as how you started, the ups and downs on investing what you feel a beginner must learn etc. and if possible if you can provide some helpful resources to continue my research thanks.
I have looked into forex robots but I doubt real investors use those often..
I have tried project payday a few years ago. I’ll admit I did make money from it, it’s just I quickly ran into some issues with my bank. So for the lack of never getting a system down I stopped.
Forex is something I’m serious about and thanks all for your post I’ll look into your suggestions, and that link you provided Michael.

First, I suggest to sign up for a demo account. Trade until you able to consistently making profit. Then, put in some real money that you can afford to loss. You may loss it, treat it as tuition fee. Finally, hopefully you would have master the skill to win in the long run.

There are many free resources, just search it online. Good luck.

Hi yahoo answers tell me the ways to automate the forex trading..

It really all depends on your objectives. If you have the time to learn what trading the Forex market is all about and how exactly to do it yourself that’s one thing. Most of us do not really have the luxury of time, patients, to trade the Forex market in a hands on method. Using automated Forex trading software is the way to go.Automatic trading orders can be executed day or night around the clock. Market opportunities often happen at times where the person trading may be sleeping, unavailable or don’t have access to a computer at a given time
