    Hi everyone,

I'm new to forex trading and would like to see what your opinions are for someone looking for:
    -Java based broker,
    -Small spreads,
    -Offers demo accounts.

    Thanks very much!

I agree. Oanda.com has a platform they call FXTrade that satisfies all 3 of your requirements. The spreads cannot be beat by any other retail forex broker to date. Oanda is able to do this primarily because they don't have an affiliate or referral program. Less middle men the better. (Despite Oanda themselves being a middle man, haha)

Hi, I need to open brokerage or forex account in Hong Kong. I'm not HK resident. I live in Czech Republic and I'd like to trade options on US market. Is there someone who could help me?

Yes but Big Tony charges 6 points on those transactions. Or a kneecap.

I have received some good answers on here about avoiding penny stocks. One suggested I go with trading in the Forex. How much money can I make on a $1,000 dollar trade for one day? Thanks everyone for your help!

It's not all doom and gloom. There are many successful retail forex traders out there who do quite well. All of them started with a small trading budget. There are also many sites where you can learn forex for free and practice trading using a demo account, also free. Check out:
    www.babypips.com
    www.forex4noobs.com
    www.forexfactory.com

The particular website linked at the bottom specializes in giving novice/beginner forex-traders helpful fundamental information regarding large and detailed introductions on foreign exchange, forex-trading tips, concepts, fraud warning info, trading safety info and also excellent, detailed information on the Major currencies of the world and the Central Banks that go with it.

There is also an article written especially for novice traders, where a more advanced trader is writing about his experiences in forex-trading during one day. All these articles are for novices and beginners, but the very first link at the top of the list below is especially written for novices. On the home-page of the website, it will show the latest news on economies and forextrading and may help you while you trade. Hope this helps and its all for free.

Here's the way I look at it…..who the heck is paying for those late night TV commercials??

    You Are!!!!

And then they hit you with training courses $2K – $3K. Monthly signal feeds – $200+ per month. etc. etc. etc.

You do not need to pay money to learn Forex. There is plenty of very good free info on the net…check out babypips.com. You can open free demo accounts at most any broker and learn the mechanics of trading without risking your own money. And without looking too hard you can find successful forex traders that would be happy to help you to not make the mistakes that most people make.

Good luck and feel free to ask questions.
