Yes and no. Yes, they will be interested and probably (but not always) glance at it. But if your competition has real money on the line for theirs, your play money amounts to nothing. Still, if you are competing against applicants that have none, then you might get it considered. It all depends on what your competition has and how fierce the fight for the spots on staff. Get a loan in a foriegn currency, say yen because the interst rates are low. Immeidately convert those yen to dollars. As the dollar regains its strength, you will need fewer dollars to convert to yen to repay that loan. Expect to pay conversion fees with each payment.
