I am sorry … I don't understand. How can you be a real Forex trader if you have no capital? Or are you a real Forex demo trader?

Try forex.com, they will start you out with as little as $250

In principle, would that be Stocks, Options, Futures, Forex, Hedge Funds or what? I’m not necessarily concerned about the inherent RISKS involved, but the highest potential in terms of return on investment (i.e. money at risk). Please justify your answer.

    Hi – I'm a trader…Highest Return?

Stocks won't because they require you to put forward the full amount of capital. Hedge Funds – you have little control over what they invest in – and i doubt they can match any professional trader's returns!

You're left with futures/forex and options. I don't have experience with futures so I can't comment but forex dealers give you a leverage of 100:1. You only need to put in 1% of capital in your trading. What does that mean?? well percentage wise your returns will be phenonemal. You can achieve the same leveraged affect with options as well as this instrument called CFDs.

I want to start investing and I don't know how

Futures For You by Dan ONeil

Stocks & Commodities V. 24:11 (66): Futures For You by Dan ONeil INSIDE THE FUTURES WORLD Want to learn how the futures markets really work? Dan ONeil, a principal at online futures and forex broker XPRESSTRADE (www.xpresstrade.com), responds to your questions about todays futures markets. To submit a question, post your question to our website at http://Message-Boards.Traders.com. Answers will be posted there, and selected questions will appear in a future issue of S&C. OUT OF THE PITS Ive heard about a couple of exchanges introducing side-by-side trading in some of their products. What is that? Side-by-side trading is the simultaneous trading of a commodity or financial futures product electronically and in the trading pit during business hours. As more exchanges introduce electronic trading, many investors are wondering whether to shift their trading from the pits to the computerized systems. While the contract specifications for products traded in the electronic and open-outcry arenas are usually identical, there are key differences. Open-outcry trading involves orders communicated to brokers in a pit via customer requests made to their brokerages via phone or computer. Customer bids and offers are matched between pit brokers, and trades are executed when prices are mutually acceptable. In electronic or screen-based trading, customers send buy/sell orders from their computers to an electronic marketplace offered by the exchange.

Trend-Following And The Interest Carry Trade by Russell Sands

Trend-Following And The Interest Carry Trade by Russell Sands Heres a look at how the Turtle system can be combined with forex trading. Forex trading has been around quite a while, and so has the Turtle system. But it has only been in the last year or so I figured out how to put the two together. After about six months of work, the first Turtle foreign exchange manual was written, and the system released at the beginning of 2007. We all know that trendfollowing is a valid concept of trading, and we also (should) all know by now that currencies are among the best trending of all markets, so it is natural we should blend them together. WHAT IS THE CARRY TRADE? There is a fundamental concept of all foreign currency trading known as the carry trade. It is not a part of the Turtle trading method, but it still has an effect on our trading. When you trade a forex pair, you are buying the currency of one country and selling that of another.
